Job Description:

Akerman LLP is seeking an experienced Applications Instructor to deliver high-impact software training to lawyers and staff across the firm. This role blends instructional delivery, coaching, and training content development to help users master both commercial and custom applications that support firmwide productivity. Training is conducted primarily remotely, with occasional onsite instruction as needed.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver effective software training to lawyers and staff across firm applications

  • Coach users on best practices aligned to legal workflows

  • Create and maintain training materials, guides, and learning content

  • Deliver training through virtual, in-person, and multimedia formats

  • Collaborate with departments and offices to align training with firm processes

  • Support system rollouts and promote productivity best practices

  • Maintain expertise in Microsoft Office, firm applications, and training technologies

  •  

Qualifications:


  • Law firm applications training experience, lawyer-facing training preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft 365 and legal application knowledge

  • Familiarity with learning management systems

  • Experience creating eLearning and training videos (Articulate 360, Synthesia and Scribe preferred)

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to connect technology to job-specific workflows and productivity

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and continuous-learning mindset

  • Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
