CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies position for our client.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months

 

Overview:
Join a dynamic team developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies. This role involves designing scalable applications, integrating enterprise systems, and applying modern development practices including test-driven development and DevOps.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.

Build and consume web services; implement transaction management and batch processing.

Utilize frameworks such as Guice for dependency injection and apply best practices in functional and aspect-oriented programming.

Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong Java backend development experience.

Proficiency with application frameworks, Guice, and web services.

Experience with Ruby or Groovy for web development a plus.

Knowledge of test-driven development, transaction management, and enterprise integration.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
