Job Description:

Our client, a Commercial Banking company, is looking for a Workday HCM Configurator for their Atlanta, GA /Charlotte, NC / Greensboro, NC/Richmond, VA/ Raleigh, NC/ Winston, NC/ Salem, VA/Remote  location.

Responsibilities:

• The Workday Core HCM Configurator will be responsible for the configuration, enhancement, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of Workday Core HCM functionality.
• This role will partner with HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and Technology teams to implement business requirements, streamline HR processes, support organizational changes, and ensure the successful delivery of HR transformation initiatives.
• Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM functionality across organizational structures, staffing models, jobs, positions, worker data, and business processes.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
• Configure supervisory organizations, company structures, cost centers, locations, job profiles, positions, and worker lifecycle processes.
• Configure and maintain Hire, Transfer, Change Job, Promotion, Termination, and Organizational Change business processes.
• Configure security roles, domain security policies, and role assignments.
• Develop and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, validation rules, notifications, and eligibility criteria.
• Support organizational restructuring, acquisitions, divestitures, and workforce management initiatives.
• Perform impact analysis for Workday releases and configuration changes.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation activities.
• Troubleshoot configuration and business process issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, Security, and Integration teams to support end-to-end business processes.
• Maintain configuration documentation, process flows, release notes, and operational procedures.
• Support data validation, audits, and compliance-related activities.

• 5+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience.
• 3+ years of direct Workday Core HCM configuration experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale Workday implementations, enhancements, and production support activities.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR operations.
• Experience configuring Workday business processes, security, staffing models, and organizational structures.
• Experience supporting testing, deployments, and release management activities.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Workday Compensation experience.
• Workday Absence and Time Tracking experience.
• Workday Talent and Performance experience.
• Workday HCM Certification preferred."
