Artisan Creative is looking for a talented Web Designer/Developer to join our talent network for a project-based opportunity with one of our healthcare clients. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented designer who can take established brand guidelines and creative direction and turn them into polished, engaging digital experiences.
The Web Designer will be responsible for translating creative direction and brand guidelines into engaging, user-friendly web experiences. The ideal candidate is comfortable working remotely, managing deadlines, collaborating with stakeholders, and taking projects from initial concepts through final design delivery.

Your Expertise:

• Web & Digital Design: Responsive websites, landing pages, and digital experiences
• Website Development: WordPress website development, customization, and content implementation
• UX/UI: Wireframing, prototyping, navigation, user experience, and visual hierarchy
• Design Tools: Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Brand & Visual Design: Brand guidelines, typography, layouts, and visual storytelling
• Project Delivery: Developer-ready files, revisions, deadlines, and remote collaboration

Your Responsibilities:

• Design responsive websites, landing pages, and digital experiences across desktop and mobile.
• Translate creative briefs, brand guidelines, and business objectives into compelling web designs.
• Develop wireframes, page layouts, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Create intuitive user experiences with strong attention to navigation, hierarchy, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, content, and development teams to bring designs to life.
• Present design concepts and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Ensure visual consistency across digital touchpoints and brand experiences.
• Prepare organized, developer-ready design files and specifications.
• Manage multiple project milestones and deliverables while meeting agreed-upon deadlines.
• Communicate proactively with the project team in a fully remote environment.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional web or digital design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing website, landing page, responsive, and digital design work.
• Advanced proficiency in WordPress, Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience working within established brand guidelines.
• Ability to translate strategy and creative direction into polished digital experiences.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to receive feedback and quickly turn revisions around.
