Job Description:
Job#: 3056603
REMOTE (Looking for candidates in CST and PST)
Pay: $57.00-$62.00
The Role
We need a hands-on designer with strong graphic design, illustration, and motion skills. Working with our design system and product teams, this person will turn clear briefs into polished visual work for our AI products and supporting materials.
- Combine graphics, illustration, animation, and product interface elements rather than work only in static illustration.
- Use AI and creative tools with good judgment, not just generate more assets.
- Help make our products clearer and more enjoyable. The team provides product direction and priorities.
What we are looking for
- Strong visual craft, including typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Motion design experience is required, alongside graphic design and illustration skills.
- Ability to combine different visual media, including product interface elements.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted creative tools and the judgment to select and refine their output.
- Ability to follow a brief, explain visual choices, respond to feedback, and finish work reliably.
- Experience with interactive visuals, coded motion graphics, design systems, or creative tooling is a plus. Coding is not a requirement.
What you will do
- Create graphics, illustrations, icons, and motion treatments from agreed briefs.
- Combine product interface elements with graphics and animation to explain ideas or highlight a product moment.
- Apply our existing visual identity across product experiences, presentations, and customer-facing materials.
- Explore visual options within a brief, refine them with feedback, and deliver finished work.
- Use AI-assisted workflows and reusable assets to reduce repeated work while keeping quality high.
- Work with partner designers to agree scope, review points, and delivery dates.
Examples of early work: Portfolio Required with Application (please include portfolio link on resume)
- Product moment: An illustration and motion treatment for a selected milestone, such as a successful deployment.
- Mixed-media visual: A piece that combines product interface elements, graphics, and animation to explain a product idea.
- Reusable assets: A coordinated set of graphics or motion treatments that partner designers can reuse.
These are examples. Priorities and scope will be agreed before work begins.
What we want to see in your work
- Strong graphic design and motion work, with your own contribution clearly explained.
- Examples that combine illustration, animation, and product interface elements.
- How you used AI or other creative tools and refined the result.
- How you took a brief through feedback to finished work.
Must-Have Skills
- Motion design and animation: 8-10 years of experience; required. Portfolio should demonstrate polished motion work, including combinations with graphics and product-interface elements.
- Illustration and graphic design: 8-10 years of experience, with strong typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling.
- AI-assisted creative tooling: demonstrated practical fluency and judgment in selecting, refining, and integrating AI-generated output into finished visual work. No minimum years requirement for AI tooling.
- Interactive visuals, coded motion graphics, design systems, and creative tooling are a plus. Coding is not a requirement.
