Role Overview
The VDC Content Specialist independently develops, tests, and maintains parametric Revit families that meet defined user requirements and established content standards. You will work closely with stakeholders and the content team, taking technical direction from senior specialists to complete work based on team priorities.
Key Responsibilities

- Build and modify parametric Revit families using reference planes, constraints, formulas, family types, and nested components.
- Configure type, instance, and shared parameters to support predictable family behavior, tagging, and scheduling.
- Plan and perform family flexing and project-based testing for geometry, visibility, placement, and information outputs.
- Troubleshoot routine issues involving constraints, formulas, parameters, family loading, and existing family uses.
- Maintain family documentation and version records, coordinate approved library updates, and support user handoff.
- Escalate requests that require new authoring methods or changes to shared content standards for further review.
Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent vocational training in drafting, design, or construction technology.
