Position Summary

The Director, US Marketing provides strategic and operational leadership for all commercial marketing activities in the United States. The role translates global strategy into local execution to accelerate market adoption, revenue growth, physician engagement, and customer experience. The position is responsible for US Marketing, Training & Education, Congress & Events, and Clinical Communications while partnering closely with Sales, Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual US marketing strategy aligned with global business objectives.
  • Lead commercialization and launch of new products in the US market.
  • Adapt global messaging, campaigns, and value propositions for US customers.
  • Develop promotional programs, customer engagement initiatives, and sales enablement tools.
  • Manage the US marketing budget and measure campaign performance and ROI.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing US Marketing organization.
  • Oversee physician education, sales training, workshops, cadaver labs, webinars, and digital learning programs.
  • Lead planning and execution of national, regional, and local congresses and customer events.
  • Direct the Clinical Communications function, ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance of customer-facing clinical content.
  • Represent the US commercial organization in global product strategy and portfolio planning.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure successful commercial execution.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for direct reports.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
  • Develop organizational capabilities and succession plans.
  • Establish clear objectives and performance metrics for the team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing people and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in product commercialization and product launches.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with interventional medical devices.
  • Experience leading Training & Education and Clinical Communications functions.
  • Experience building KOL engagement and scientific communication strategies.

Physical Demands

Fast-paced, collaborative medical device environment requiring interaction with internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
