The role

South East Water is now seeking an experienced Data Quality Tester who will play a vital role in the introduction of advanced data analytical tools. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure that data moves between various systems (Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, on-premise DBs) as expected and that any defects or issues are identified and communicated before a change is deployed.

This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and attention to detail.

Who are you?

A passionate and driven non-functional testing specialist with a strong background in data quality utilising Azure Databricks, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role in software testing.  Backed by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field, candidates will have a strong working knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (V-Model, Agile).

The following other skills, knowledge and experience will ensure you will succeed in your new role:

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in Azure Databricks
• Detail-oriented and committed to achieving high standards of quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• ISTQB certifications are a plus (CT-AI).
• Previous experience in the utilities industry is a plus.

This role is remunerated at a Level 4,, which is between $104,610 and $112,447 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
