Job Description:
Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced MS Dynamics Systems Engineer for our client, a nonprofit organization out of Virginia! This is a contract position offering a remote schedule with preference for candidates in the EST pr CST time zone.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Step into a critical technology leadership role during a period of organizational transition. Partner closely with leadership, staff, and external IT service providers to ensure the organization's technology environment is stable, secure, well-documented, and aligned with evolving business priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with executive leadership to establish technology priorities, strategy, roadmap, and operating practices aligned with organizational goals

Oversee the technology ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics, HubSpot, Vitrium, Bluesky, Teams, infrastructure, and cloud services

Own the relationship with the outsourced MSP, establishing clear responsibilities for support, escalations, maintenance, security, and technology projects
-
Oversee integrations, APIs, identity/SSO, and data flows between critical business applications to ensure reliable and efficient system operations

Lead data governance and data integrity initiatives, improving the accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and reliability of organizational data

Partner with the MSP on cybersecurity, access management, endpoint protection, incident response, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity

Build and maintain comprehensive documentation covering systems, architecture, integrations, vendors, configurations, processes, licenses, and technology ownership
QUALIFICATIONS
-
8+ years of progressive experience in IT

Experience serving as an internal technology owner or senior technology partner within a small or mid-sized organization

Strong Microsoft 365 experience and familiarity with modern cloud-based technology environments

Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot, including integrations and business-system data flows

Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, identity/SSO, and interconnected business applications

Experience managing or coordinating an outsourced IT service provider/MSP, along with technology vendors and consultants

Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integrity across multiple systems a plus

Working knowledge of cybersecurity, access management, endpoint security, backup/recovery, and business continuity a plus

Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
