As an Electronics Sustainability Lead with the Jacobs Electronics Group, you will work within a highly creative, multidisciplinary design team dedicated to optimizing building performance and design excellence across a global portfolio of semiconductor and datacenter projects. Within the Sustainability group, you will help direct LEED certifications and client ESG goals for mission-critical projects. You are encouraged to bring your own diverse experiences and best practices and apply them to our projects, managing project scope and delegating tasks to help our projects achieve their established sustainability goals. Daily, you will organize and participate in meetings with designers, contractors, and owners. On occasion, you will have opportunities to assist with business development, proposals/contracts, and new project setup. There will also be opportunities to perform and/or manage advanced technical analysis, including but not limited to life-cycle assessments, daylighting analysis, simple-box energy modeling.

Here's what you'll need
- 5+ years of professional relevant experience in building-related design and construction projects
- Professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Sustainability, or similar from an accredited program
- Demonstrated progressive overall experience in an Architecture, Engineering, or Sustainability Consulting organization
- LEED AP with BD+C specialty; credential must be active
- Experience as the LEED Project Administrator on projects which have completed certification under LEEDv4
- Detailed knowledge of sustainability and integrated design processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategies and systems related to occupant wellness, energy efficiency, daylighting, indoor air quality, materials assessment, stormwater management, and other common sustainability-related topics
- Strong organizational skills to help facilitate multiple projects at one time, communication skills (both verbal and written), creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively coordinate with project professionals and management teams, both internal and external
- Professional experience writing and developing project reports and presentations
- Demonstrated software experience with Bluebeam studio and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to engage in occasional meetings outside of core working hours to support international projects
- Enthusiasm, accountability, and a goal-oriented attitude
Ideally you will also have:
- Experience in embodied carbon design optimization and life-cycle assessments
- Experience in datacenter, semiconductor, cleanroom, and/or industrial manufacturing sectors
- Desire to travel for design workgroups and/or construction site visits
- Desire to attend and/or submit speaking proposals for industry conferences

The base salary range for this position is $74,700.00 to $102,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
