Supervisor Operations (Remote) 

Full time, United States

 

In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of a travel consultant team, including managing key performance indicators (KPI), workload, providing assistance, and coaching. As the Operations Supervisor you will also be the primary point of contact for the team members and actively coach and develop the team to meet and exceed all performance targets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in corporate travel operations, with a proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in a virtual environment.

 

As a Supervisor Operations, you will 

  • Provide leadership to a team of travel consultants 

  • Collaborate with performance data to maximize the effectiveness of the team 

  • Develop learning programs for closing own short- and long-term competency gaps 

  • Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties 

  • Maintain knowledge of necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.) 

  • Monitor global distribution systems (GDS) queues daily to maintain quality control 

 

About you 

  • Extensive experience in the corporate travel management industry 

  • You have relevant supervising experience  

  • Advanced skills on GDS Sabre and SAP Concur Travel 

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Prior experience supporting life sciences or pharmaceutical clients and familiarity with global travel operations are preferred

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Supervisor Operations is between $60,000 and $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location. 

 

This position requires flexibility regarding work schedules. Assignments may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as determined by business needs.
