Location: Remote-first within the UK or Spain. To be considered for this role, candidates must live in and possess valid work authorization for one of these two countries.

Airalo is looking for a Strategy Director to join its growing Strategy team and become a driver in shaping the strategic direction of the company. This position will support in driving critical strategic initiatives, and contributing to the company's growth and success.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategy consulting or a similar role, demonstrating exceptional leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of business strategy and business planning.

- Strategy planning and execution:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support strategic decision-making across various areas, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling.
- Oversee the implementation of the PMO driving strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments and tracking progress against key metrics.
- Manage strategic projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and achieving desired outcomes.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for expansion and growth.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, providing regular updates to the strategy team.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for the company.
- Performance management & OKRs
- Own the design and evolution of the OKR framework
- Drive company-wide OKR cycles (setting, alignment, tracking)
- Support and lead/co-lead on monthly / quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs)
- Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions with stakeholders
- Establish performance culture (accountability, transparency, data-driven decisions)
- Corporate Development and M&A:
- Support the preparation of investor materials and participate in investor meetings as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors and strategic partners.
- Support in the development of M&A strategy and framework
- Assist in the identification, evaluation, and execution of potential M&A transactions, including due diligence and financial analysis
- Ensure to have an always up to date pitch deck and data room for the company
- Investor Relations:
- Facilitate communication between the executive team and the board of directors.
- Prepare and distribute materials for board meetings, including agendas, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate logistics for board meetings, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to board members in a timely manner.
- Assist in the implementation of board decisions and resolutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance shareholder value and promote confidence in the organization.
- Address shareholder concerns and inquiries, ensuring a positive and transparent communication proces
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics, finance or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a related field, with a focus on technology or telecommunications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A transactions, due diligence, financial modeling, and strategic planning
Good to have:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience or exposure to global consumer technology companies
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of high-performing individuals.
