Location: 77 Hot Metal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 - hybrid work schedule (NOT fully remote)

Accountant ( General Accountant , GL / General Ledger Staff Accountant ) :

- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand the projects and transactions being recorded
- Analyze transactions and balances to ensure that they are appropriately recorded in the general ledger
- Prepare and review routine recurring and non-recurring journal entries
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
- Assist in the preparation of key internal reporting
- Prepare required documentation for financial audits and reviews
- Assist in maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
