Hourly base pay rate is $29.38 - $44.09/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
This position will serve as a financial partner within Cox Fleet by performing general accounting tasks on a daily basis for expense and balance sheet accounts, including providing reconciliation and analysis assistance. This position will be expected to gain a detailed understanding of several P&L accounts, balance sheet accounts, high volume journal entries and policies.
Duties:

Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis to ensure balances are properly supported and explained. Independently collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve any reconciliation issues in a timely manner.

Supports the monthly fiscal close process by identifying and processing the necessary journal entries through collaboration with various business partners. Ensure accuracy and timelines with adherence to fiscal close processes and deadlines.

Perform general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications.

Review and analyze monthly activities for accuracy providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented.

Perform account research and analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes.

Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries.

Ensure all accounting procedures, records, and reports conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and adhere to the Company’s internal control framework

Prepare Ad Hoc Analyses and complete projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Business Administration or Accounting) and 2 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field.

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Highly detail oriented and organized in work.

Analytical mindset with ability to analyze data and prepare financial reports.

Strong time management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines with limited supervision required.

Advanced proficiency with financial software tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Oracle, Blackline, and Copilot or other automation platforms.

Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
Experience:

Experience in the automobile, Auction of software industry desirable.

Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
