Rate of Pay:
The salary range for this position in Cary, NC is $157,248.00 to $250,600.00 per year, and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Job Description
Duties
Responsible for the delivery of high-quality Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application implementations aligned with the company’s implementation methodology. Design and develop technical solution. Act in the role of a trusted advisor to the customer and lead implementations toward the company’s Best Practices. Ensure that the company’s delivery methodologies are followed and assist Project Manager with developing estimates, detailed work breakdown structure, and supporting accurate project/program governance.
Provide direct technical mentorship to the onshore/offshore development team(s) and ensure alignment of the solution design and technical delivery. Develop functional/design specifications for the project, as well as support in-process gate/maturity reviews and governance reporting as needed.
Support and engage daily with customers located in the eastern, central, and South America time zones in real time. Collaborate daily with customers, attend meetings and workshops, and validate application solutions to make sure they fit.
Telecommuting from a commutable distance is permissible pursuant to company policy. Position requires up to 20% domestic travel. Hybrid role.
Requirements
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Solution Architect-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Implementing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology, including direct and indirect customer interactions through workshops or meetings.
- Developing estimates and detailed work breakdown structure for project technical deliverables and Statement of Work development.
- Developing functional and design specifications and supporting in-process maturity reviews and governance reporting.
- Guiding customer business and IT end-user departments, including process and solution mentoring and implementation.
- Working with product development and manufacturing processes for life sciences, consumer products, or energy industries.
- Working with C++, JSP, Stylesheet, or ITK programming languages.
