Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Test Lead - FACETS Configuration to lead quality assurance activities for a large-scale healthcare payer platform engagement. This role requires strong expertise in FACETS, configuration validation, and end-to-end testing processes, along with proven experience leading testing efforts across complex application landscapes. The ideal candidate will drive test strategy, requirements analysis, test planning, metrics reporting, and stakeholder communications while ensuring high-quality software delivery. This is a client-facing role that requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills within an Agile or enterprise delivery environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Test Lead - FACETS Configuration, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring applications meet business and quality standards. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and clients to analyze requirements, develop test strategies, review test scenarios and test cases, and communicate test outcomes. Leveraging your expertise in FACETS, configuration testing, SDLC, and STLC processes, you will provide guidance to the QA team, monitor testing progress, and deliver actionable insights through test metrics and governance reporting. This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in driving quality initiatives and supporting strategic healthcare technology solutions.

In This Role, You Will

• Resource should have Configuration Knowledge

• SDLC & STLC Process

• Resource should handle Reports, Requirement analysis, Test Strategy, Test Metrics, Test case development, Test case scenario, Test case walkthrough with clients on Test results.

• Responsible for Creating daily/weekly status, governance, and annual reports to stakeholders to make sure agreed upon customized software solutions are timely delivered while also recommending changes to ensure optimum efficiency through technology innovations.

Required Qualifications

 Strong experience working as a Test Lead or Senior QA Analyst in enterprise application testing.

 Hands-on experience with FACETS, preferably within healthcare payer environments.

 Solid understanding of FACETS Configuration and related business processes.

 Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

 Experience in test planning, test strategy creation, test case design, and execution management.

 Experience preparing test metrics, status reports, defect reports, and governance dashboards.

 Strong requirement analysis and stakeholder management skills.

 Excellent communication skills with experience presenting test results and conducting client-facing walkthroughs.

 Strong experience working as a Test Lead or Senior QA Analyst in enterprise application testing.

 Hands-on experience with FACETS, preferably within healthcare payer environments.

 Solid understanding of FACETS Configuration and related business processes.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until October 11th , 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $53,000 - $92,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
