Senior Systems Analyst

The Role

Fidelity is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Fidelity Institutional Technology Development team. In this role, you will design, govern, and maintain secure, compliant access to enterprise platforms by defining and enforcing an enterprise entitlement strategy aligned with governance and risk frameworks. You will partner cross‑functionally with business, data, cybersecurity, architecture, and product teams to support system integrations—including databases, SSO, and IAM—and to deliver scalable, risk‑aware access models. A strong focus on documentation, audit readiness, data integrity, and policy adherence ensures regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

You will collaborate closely with Architecture, Development, UX, and Product Owners to define user roles, entitlement groups, access levels, and functional authorization flows across environments. Responsibilities include documenting policies, standards, approval workflows, and audit evidence; identifying access risks and remediation plans with Cybersecurity and Risk teams; and providing clear business and technical requirements for current and future use cases

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience, including 1–2+ years in Identity & Access Management, Governance, or related security/IT roles

  • Experience with entitlement hierarchies, RBAC models, and audit evidence creation

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks

  • Strong data analysis and documentation skills; ability to manage entitlement classification and organization

  • Experience with database structures, certificate management, and federation metadata

  • Scripting or query skills (e.g., SQL) for reporting and analysis

  • Experience working in Agile development environments

  • Exposure to test automation and quality practices

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical audiences

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to guide, mentor, and motivate engineers and analysts

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities with keen attention to detail

  • Collaborative mindset and desire to work closely within the product area

  • Customer‑focused approach with the ability to understand and articulate sprint‑level value

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate large, complex software systems end‑to‑end

The Team

You will collaborate with a diverse group of partners—including business stakeholders, architects, systems analysts, engineers, and technical leads—to develop and maintain mission‑critical security functionality. This includes features such as login and authentication flows, password recovery, multi‑factor authentication, and related capabilities. Your work directly supports thousands of registered investment advisors, correspondents, and individual investors who rely on our platform every day.
