What You Will Do

• Architect and implement scalable full-stack features across both frontend and backend systems.
• Write production-quality code in TypeScript and Go, contributing to both client-facing interfaces and server-side services.
• Drive technical decision-making, including system design, code standards, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and security teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and scalability challenges.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers, contributing to a strong engineering culture.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold a high bar for code quality and maintainability.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in TypeScript for frontend and/or full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience with Go for backend services and APIs.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable systems in a production environment.
• Comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred

• Experience working on security, identity, or access management products.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable distributed systems and architecture.
• Familiarity with customer-facing product development that balances performance, user experience, and maintainability.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $250,000, commensurate with experience and level. Flexible work arrangements are available, allowing for on-site presence in San Francisco or fully remote work.
