WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Coordinate and administer the full recruitment process, from job posting through offer letter preparation.
  • Post open positions across job boards, the company website, and social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and appeal.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including calendar invites, materials prep, and day-of support.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system with up-to-date candidate information and interview schedules.
  • Support candidate communication throughout the process by providing timely updates and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Assist with onboarding activities and new hire coordination as needed.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to represent the organization and attract qualified talent.
  • Assist with reference and background checks in compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Prepare offer letters under the guidance of the Sr. Talent Specialist, including salary, benefits, and start date details.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience; Associate's degree with 4+ years; or High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working within applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and standard recruiting processes.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization, a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or have been granted political asylum in the U.S. (required due to the nature of the work).
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. for any employer (sponsorship is not available).

 

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Hands-on experience working within an ATS platform.
  • A solid understanding of end-to-end recruiting workflows and best practices.
  • Prior experience in a government contracting or defense-adjacent environment.

 

LOCATION

This position is based near Charleston, SC, and offers a hybrid schedule (in-office and remote) with flexible hours. Candidates must reside in the Charleston area to ensure on-site flexibility when needed.
