The Senior Manager, Clinical Reporting leads the strategy, execution and continuous evolution of clinical reporting capabilities that enable informed decision-making across Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and executive leadership.
This role is responsible for leading a team of Clinical Reporting professionals who develop standardized reporting, dashboards and analytics supporting the clinical trial lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, Digital Health Solutions and Information Technology to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, compliant and aligned with evolving business needs.
As a strategic leader, you will drive reporting innovation through automation, data visualization, governance and process improvement while establishing reporting capabilities that support operational excellence, inspection readiness and future advanced analytics initiatives.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to work from our Marlborough, Massachusetts; Maple Grove, Minnesota; or Arden Hills, Minnesota office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic leadership and reporting innovation
● Develop and execute the Clinical Reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with Clinical Operations priorities and enterprise objectives.
● Partner with clinical and technology leaders to establish a long-term roadmap for reporting capabilities that improve study oversight, portfolio visibility and executive decision-making.
● Identify opportunities to modernize reporting through automation, self-service analytics, data visualization tools and emerging technologies.
● Champion data-driven decision-making by promoting standardized metrics, dashboards and reporting best practices across the clinical organization.
● Lead change management activities supporting the adoption of new reporting capabilities, tools and business processes.
Clinical reporting and analytics
● Own the portfolio of operational and executive clinical reports supporting study execution, enrollment, monitoring, site performance, quality metrics and portfolio management.
● Ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements while maintaining accuracy, consistency and regulatory compliance.
● Collaborate with Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics and Digital Health Solutions teams to deliver integrated reporting across multiple clinical systems.
● Establish reporting standards, documentation and governance processes that support consistency across therapeutic areas and clinical programs.
● Drive development of interactive dashboards and analytical tools that provide actionable insights throughout the clinical development lifecycle.
Team leadership and talent development
● Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Clinical Reporting team focused on operational excellence, customer service and continuous improvement.
● Establish clear roles, responsibilities, development plans and performance expectations for team members.
● Foster an inclusive culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, accountability and continuous learning.
● Build organizational capabilities through coaching, succession planning and professional development opportunities.
● Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the clinical organization.
Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
● Build trusted partnerships across Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality and Information Technology.
● Communicate reporting roadmaps, project status, risks and opportunities to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Operational excellence and data governance
● Establish governance processes that ensure reporting quality, consistency and data integrity across clinical reporting platforms.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives that streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
● Ensure reporting solutions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, Boston Scientific quality standards and enterprise data governance policies.
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline.
● Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
● Minimum of 8 years' experience in Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Reporting, Clinical Analytics or related functions within the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or health care industry.
● Minimum of 3 years' experience leading high-performing technical or analytical teams.
● Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, GCP principles and clinical quality requirements.
● Experience working with clinical systems, including CTMS, EDC, eTMF and clinical reporting platforms.
● Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
● Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications:
● Experience developing executive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire or similar data visualization platforms.
● Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, data warehousing concepts and modern analytics platforms.
● Experience implementing reporting governance, KPI frameworks and reporting automation initiatives.
● Agile, Project Management Professional (PMP) or other continuous improvement or project management certification.
● Experience supporting reporting transformation initiatives within a global, regulated medical device or life sciences organization.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) –—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
