Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We're proud to work for a mission-driven company leveraging AI to transform the way we work. CrowdStrikers drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy while also being expected to contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. We use an AI-first mindset as a force multiplier to proactively and continuously accelerate execution, build expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

As an Identity Infrastructure Operations Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our identity infrastructure stack, particularly within the Government Cloud ("GovCloud") systems (Fedramp Moderate & Fedramp High DOD IL 4 & 5). Your primary focus will be on ensuring operational excellence, security, and scalability while supporting internal applications and user access within the US-Gov-1 and US-Gov-2 environments.

Join us at CrowdStrike as we revolutionize access governance within the Federal Cloud Infrastructure. If you're passionate about identity and access management, automation, and security, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team!

What You'll Do:

  • Manage operational tasks related to identity provider operations, application lifecycle management, and documentation.

  • Work closely with Engineering and IT teams to integrate solutions, address identity-related issues, and ensure compliance with FedRAMP/DoD requirements.

  • Implement and maintain security measures, conduct security impact analysis, and ensure adherence to government security controls.

  • Identify and automate repetitive tasks, develop automation workflows, and contribute to the development of monitoring and alerting tools.

  • Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for architecting/designing solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and conducting root cause analysis.

  • Regularly update stakeholders on the status of support requests and coordinate support activities with IT personnel.

  • Contribute actively to the IT Federal Engineering team, including participation in the on-call rotation for federal cloud support.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-11 years of relevant work experience or Master's degree with 6-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in identity and access management.

  • Proficiency in Directory Services, Group Policy Management, DNS, and other related technologies.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:

  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation tasks.

  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, preferably within government cloud environments.

  • Identity Provider Experience: Knowledge of Keycloak, PingIdentity/NokNok, and other identity providers.

  • Authentication Protocols: Familiarity with SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and MFA integration.

  • Experience with monitoring/alerting tools, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), and security best practices.

  • Technical Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • Plus to have Certifications: CJIS background investigation clearance and relevant training as required by company policy.
