Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support modern web applications, backend services, and data solutions used by internal analytics and research teams. This role requires strong full-stack development experience with a focus on React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, and AWS serverless technologies.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer who thrives in a remote environment, communicates effectively with cross-functional teams, and can contribute with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design and develop frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6).
• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices to support business applications.
• Create technical designs, documentation, and unit tests.

Cloud & Serverless Development

• Design and implement AWS serverless solutions.

• Develop and support applications utilizing:

• AWS Lambda

• DynamoDB

• S3

• SNS/SQS

• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS environments.

Data & Analytics Support

• Build and maintain ETL and data processing pipelines.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Support reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives.
• Improve data quality and operational efficiency across systems.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Partner with product, research, and program teams.
• Participate in Agile development and continuous delivery practices.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

• Strong full-stack development experience.

• Advanced experience with:

• React.js

• TypeScript

• JavaScript (ES6)

• Node.js

• Python

• SQL

• Experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices.

• Hands-on AWS experience including:

• Lambda

• DynamoDB

• S3

• SNS/SQS

• Experience deploying applications to AWS.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated API and E2E testing.
• AWS CDK or CloudFormation experience.
• Event-driven architecture experience.
• CI/CD and DevOps automation experience.
• Agile/Scrum development experience.
• AWS or related cloud certifications.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
