Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of commercial lending workflows including loan origination, underwriting, risk rating, portfolio management, due diligence, loan documentation, and Know Your Customer and Know Your Business processes
• Experience in commercial banking, commercial credit, pre-sales, customer success, technical consulting, or related client-facing roles
• Ability to independently lead client workshops, gather business requirements, and translate client needs into high-level functional solution designs
• Experience supporting solution design, project scoping, implementation estimation, proposals, requests for proposal responses, and contract discussions
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and articulate complex concepts clearly
• Experience with commercial lending, loan origination, or credit risk technology platforms preferred; familiarity with reporting tools, database technologies, and banking system architectures is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
• Fluency in English required; Spanish or French language skills preferred

Responsibilities

Partner with clients and internal teams to design lending solutions that support commercial banking objectives and successful customer outcomes.

• Establish a clear understanding of customer lending goals, operational challenges, and future business objectives
• Facilitate business requirements and solution design workshops to analyze loan origination and underwriting processes
• Lead and support solution design activities, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
• Create and define implementation scope, process flows, project estimates, timelines, and supporting engagement documentation
• Support commercial discussions regarding project scope, technical capabilities, implementation approaches, customer expectations, and contractual requirements
• Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and delivery teams to formalize project engagements and ensure successful handoff to implementation
• Develop proposals, statements of work, and responses to requests for proposal, requests for information, and other sales support activities
• Share industry best practices, support product improvement initiatives, and deliver internal and external knowledge-sharing sessions

About the Team

Our Lending Advisory and Pre-Sales team partners with financial institutions to help transform lending operations through innovative technology, industry expertise, and consultative engagement. The team works closely with clients to understand business needs, design effective lending solutions, support successful implementations, and provide valuable market insights that influence product strategy. By joining this team, you will contribute to high-impact client engagements, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and support the adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions that enhance lending efficiency and risk management.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $119,100.00 - $172,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
