Job Description:
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate Oncology to support a client in the biotechnology industry in the United States. The Senior Clinical Research Associate Oncology role is fully remote with regional travel required to clinical trial sites. The Senior Clinical Research Associate Oncology is well-suited for an experienced professional with strong expertise in independent monitoring, oncology protocols, and site management across multiple studies.
Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Research Associate Oncology include:
- Conduct comprehensive monitoring visits across the full study lifecycle, ensuring adherence to protocols, GCP, and regulatory standards
- Act as the primary liaison for study sites, proactively addressing issues and maintaining strong site relationships
- Provide hands-on oversight of oncology trials, evaluating data integrity, patient safety, and study progress
- Oversee multiple research sites simultaneously, prioritizing activities based on timelines, enrollment, and site performance
- Partner closely with internal teams and external biotech sponsors to support efficient and compliant study execution
Requirements of the Senior Clinical Research Associate Oncology include:
- 5+ years of CRA experience, including at least 2+ years supporting oncology clinical trials
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage monitoring activities and full site lifecycle responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and oncology-specific study requirements
- Experience working directly with biotech or sponsor clients in a collaborative environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively while traveling approximately 25-40%
Compensation for the Senior Clinical Research Associate Oncology include:
- $120,000 - $145,000 annually + bonus
