Title: Sr. Association Manager

Job Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY
This role provides an opportunity to engage with members on a variety of issues, support the cost allocation and invoicing process, manage large data mapping projects, support financial statement presentation, and perform financial data analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Key Responsibilities
-
Support the annual invoicing process – data acquisition and mapping, coordinating with portal developer/vendor, trouble shooting, working with individual members.

Develop fee estimates and invoices for new members.

Participate on calls/respond to emails as needed to answer questions related to invoicing/cost allocation.

Manage self-reporting/self-reported data.

Process incoming payments in Salesforce & provide necessary reports, as required.

Coordinate payment processing and posting with Etherio Accounting.

Track/follow-up with unpaid members Track/follow-up with payment plan members.

Generate payment plan invoices in Salesforce Revise invoices in Salesforce as needed.

Prepare monthly cash receipts reconciliations Manage/Support ad hoc invoicing and finance projects.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree
-
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); including ability to present and speak in public
-
Advanced Excel skills, must be confident with a wide variety of functions/formulas for data analysis and transformation

Strong financial acumen
-
Exceptional data analysis and analytical skills
-
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Experience in Salesforce preferred
-
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
-
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourceful under pressure
-
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently

Outstanding customer service and ability to work with members in person, on the phone and electronically

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
Preferred location is DC, but remote candidates are considered. We operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence, as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and/or event locations.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel at most 4 times per year.
