Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior App Support Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for integration testing and configuration with client systems. The position involves testing custom-developed applications, supporting low-level troubleshooting of complex systems that communicate via API, and working with clients to ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform integration testing and configuration with clients’ systems.
• Test custom-developed applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Provide low-level troubleshooting for complex, interconnected systems.
• Utilize scripting languages for testing and system support.
• Work closely with customer-facing teams and development teams.
• Maintain customer service standards and function as a collaborative team member.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a related discipline is required.

Experience: 10 years of experience in IT support, testing, configurations, and debugging is required. Experience must include testing an organization's custom-developed applications.

Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience with API Postman testing and MySQL. Knowledge of a scripting language is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Regular Expressions (Regex) for validation purposes.
• Programming experience with JavaScript.
• Demonstrated potential for leadership or mentorship.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position requiring work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. The role will initially involve travel to customer sites for familiarization, which will subsequently be reduced to approximately 10%. Travel may be domestic or international.
