Ready to join in? We are seeking a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to join our Physical Therapy team. We are looking for an upbeat and enthusiastic individual that can provide excellent customer service to our patients. In this role, you will manage our phones in a pleasant and professional manner and schedule physical therapy appointments. Previous PT experience and bilingual in Spanish is preferred. This is a full-time, hybrid position based at the corporate office in Westchester, IL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with patients/therapists/callers in polite and helpful manner to book appointments for PT/OT; enter demographic data, insurance information, and other relevant information into the Athena System.
- Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages, and provide information.
- Maintain and update current information on therapist’s schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly.
- Maintain a positive demeanor with patients, peers, supervisors, and therapists, especially when receiving feedback or direction.
- Assist staff members, when necessary, in a positive and professional manner to ensure the patients receive utmost in care.
- Perform work with accuracy to minimize error correction by other staff members.
- Double check data entry to ensure the correct information has been entered into the Athena system.
- Organize and prioritize work to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay abreast of compliance with all state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
- Adapt to constant change in a positive and professional manner.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- Operate basic office equipment such as a computer, phone, and fax machine.
- Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Work and communicate with patients, therapists, and staff in all levels of the organization.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
- Schedule varies, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am – 7:30pm and Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm
- Bilingual is Spanish, preferred.
Education and/ or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Plus, a minimum of one year's work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.

Pay Range: $18.25 – $20.00 per hour. Compensation at MOR is determined by many factors, which may include but are not limited to, job-related skills and level of experience, education, certifications, geographic location, market data and internal equity. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
