About the Role
Title: SAP Finance Lead
Location: Sydney Australia
Job Description:
As Finance Lead within our SAP team, you’ll work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the SAP community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.
You will:
- Lead a team of 3-10 consultants, onshore and offshore as part of an SAP implementation.
- Accompany Capgemini’s clients in key design decisions in the Finance space, integrated with other functional and technical areas.
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP Solutions from a finance perspective to meet evolving business needs, based on SAP standard and industry best practices for both RISE and GROW.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external vendors, to ensure successful SAP project delivery and support.
- Prepare and share a status report for the finance domain, drive the team’s workload based on the agreed timelines and quality outputs required for the project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships throughout implementation and technical build processes.
- Contribute from a thought leadership perspective to help grow our clients but also our internal practice from a finance perspective, SAP perspective (including the future roadmap) and the industry practices you’ve come across.
Your profile
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance.
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (Finance & Controlling) with 2-3 full life-cycle implementations.
- Additional experience in Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Closing or Document and Reporting Compliance will be given preference.
- Proven track record in delivering large and small IT projects across diverse industry sectors, including multicultural environments.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
