Job Description:
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Salesforce Developer who is eager to grow their Salesforce expertise, contribute to impactful platform enhancements, and work alongside experienced team members in a collaborative environment for a contract postion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer who enjoys building solutions, solving technical challenges, and delivering high-quality work while continuing to expand their Salesforce skillset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow automation.
- Configure and enhance the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and business processes.
- Execute development tasks from a prioritized backlog, delivering solutions that meet defined business and technical requirements.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Participate in deployment activities, environment management, version control, and release support processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and change logs.
- Collaborate with administrators, business stakeholders, developers, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Support enhancements across Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, testing, and solution reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (Required).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Required).
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
- Experience supporting and configuring Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud environments.
- Understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, reporting, and platform best practices.
- Familiarity with integration concepts including REST APIs, Web-to-Lead, and Web-to-Case.
- Experience with Git-based version control practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a structured Agile development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working within established development standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification is a plus.
- Exposure to Tableau Next or other modern analytics platforms is a plus.
The base range for this contract position is $60.00 - $100.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
