The Opportunity:
The Risk Engagement Strategic Lead will provide expertise in strategic and ongoing companywide projects and product enablement regarding Risk Solutions operations for all platforms. This team member will provide advisory support to internal and external teams with strategic and operational objective alignment across all Risk Solution divisions. This position will also provide support to the Risk Solutions organization on internal centralization and governance of Risk Solutions suite of services and products to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency to system functions.
Day In The Life:

Delivers effective, accurate and consistent communication to management, internal teams,

Delivers effective, accurate and consistent communication to management, internal teams, external clients and vendors.

Stays informed on new industry fraud trends by reviewing external sources that detail

industry alerts, outside Financial Institution trends and industry expert evaluations.

Maintain knowledge of fraud and risk applications and systems supported by Velera
-
Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Provide training, quality and assurance standardization and ensure deployed across all of Risk Solutions divisions

Extensive knowledge of Fraud Prevention Tools – strong understanding of all platforms and processing products.

Prepare well-written reports that are cleared within report issuance guidelines, and effectively communicate throughout the project lifecycle

Represent Risk Engagement Enterprise on committees and teams as assigned

Provides advisory support to the development and ongoing maintenance of proactive and effective controls in the Risk Engagement infrastructure to mitigate risks to an acceptable level
Qualifications:
-
Seven (7) years within the financial service industry required.
-
Five (5) years professional experience in risk management and/or project management required. Experience with data analytical tools required.

Multiple payments processing system knowledge preferred.

Experience with fraud mitigation industry tools within the financial service industry.

Experience with financial institution core processing systems preferred.

Project management skills.

Excellent team player who can work with virtual and cross-functional teams
Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of education and experience required.

Pay Equity
$75,800.00 - $96,700.00
Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
