Job Description:
The Production Assistant role at One of Us provides support to the VFX Producer to ensure projects run smoothly. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and collaborate well within the project team as well as the wider company support teams. They will be level-headed under pressure, super organised and have good attention to detail.
Requirements
- Assisting the VFX Producer in day to day tasks.
- Managing and tracking all project data IO and overseeing the relevant activities of the data IO team.
- Client review preparation in collaboration with the VFX Producer and VFX Supervisor.
- Taking notes in internal and external meetings.
- Updating the production database with any external feedback, tracking in-coming and out-going deliveries and updating statuses.
- Managing and maintaining communication groups i.e. email and ShotGrid groups.
- Managing the project calendar; communicating team absences.
- Managing new starter processes i.e. issuing welcome emails and arranging welcome meetings.
- Acting as the production point of contact for the Facilities team.
- Project event planning and budgeting.
Experience:
- Previous VFX production experience (desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of the VFX production process from concept to completion.
- Good familiarity with post-production pipelines, techniques, and software.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with ShotGrid Software (desirable).
- Knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suites, especially spreadsheets (essential).
- Basic editorial knowledge (desirable).
- Basic Linux (desirable).

- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Hours and location
Our core hours are 9.30am to 6.30pm or 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
We have a great office in Old Street where you would be based. This is an hybrid role where you would be required to work in the studio a minimum 2 days a week.
