Job Description:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
- 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or similar technical environments.
- Experience in data center hardware architectures, including servers, storage, and accelerators.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience developing and integrating manufacturing hardware, including custom electronics, precision fixturing, and specialized instrumentation.
- Experience collaborating with and managing global contract manufacturing partners.
- Experience in root cause analysis (RCCA) for manufacturing yield issues and field.

Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and deploy Google data center hardware platforms (server, storage, networking, racks and accelerators) across global manufacturing partners while shaping long-term manufacturing strategies.
- Drive early engagement for New Product Introductions, partnering with NPI teams to define Design for Manufacturing (DFM) requirements and ensuring a seamless transition to sustaining operations.
- Provide high-caliber product engineering support for both new and existing products to ensure consistent operational excellence.
- Analyze and resolve manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes by driving Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) to closure with robust preventive measures.
- Collaborate with internal and partner engineering teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency, maximize test coverage, reduce costs, and manage product changes that improve overall performance.
