About the Job
We're seeking a highly experienced Analytics Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader within our Analytics function.
You'll design and develop enterprise solutions across SQL, Power BI, SSRS, data modeling, and reporting while helping establish scalable standards and reusable technical patterns. You'll lead complex initiatives from business need through implementation, serve as a technical escalation point, and provide mentorship and guidance to other Analytics professionals without direct supervisory responsibility.
What You'll Do

Design, develop, and optimize scalable enterprise analytics and reporting solutions across SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and related technologies

Lead complex Analytics initiatives from requirements and technical design through implementation and production support

Build and optimize semantic models, analytical datasets, reporting solutions, and reusable technical components

Translate complex or ambiguous business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions

Establish and promote Analytics development standards, reusable patterns, documentation practices, and technical governance

Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of business-critical reporting and analytics solutions

Modernize legacy reporting, reduce duplicate logic, and identify opportunities to address technical debt

Partner with Data Engineering, Data Management, Software Engineering, and business leadership to solve complex data and reporting challenges

Serve as a technical escalation point and provide mentorship, design guidance, and knowledge transfer across the Analytics team
What You'll Bring
-
5+ years of progressive experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Reporting Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline

Advanced experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, dataset design, security, and reporting

Strong experience developing and supporting SSRS solutions

Demonstrated success independently leading complex Analytics initiatives from requirements through production

Experience translating business needs into scalable technical solutions

Experience establishing or contributing to Analytics standards, reusable technical patterns, or governance
-
Strong technical problem-solving skills across data, reporting, performance, and production environments

Experience providing technical mentorship or leadership to Analytics or BI professionals
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered

Healthcare, clinical, claims, eligibility, financial, population health, or other regulated-industry data experience preferred
