Job Description

What Is Blinq?

Blinq is building the fastest, most intuitive way to share who you are and remember who you meet. What started as the world’s number one digital business card is now the starting point for over 50 million new relationships a year — and growing at unicorn pace.

Our vision is to build the world’s intelligence layer for professional relationships — one that remembers for you, prompts when it matters, and keeps you in play. If that’s the kind of scale and ambition you want to be part of, you’re in the right place.

Learn more about what we’re building at Blinq: https://blinq.me/

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Rapid growth: Doubling annual recurring revenue (ARR) every few months, expanding our product offerings, and rapidly building our team across Sydney, San Francisco, Melbourne, and New York.

  • Well-resourced: More than $45 million raised from investors including Blackbird, Touring Capital, HubSpot Ventures, and Square Peg. We’re continuously investing in the people and tools that fuel our mission.

  • A rare moment to join: We’re hitting an inflection point — big enough to have momentum, small enough for you to shape the journey.

  • Customers love it: More than 140,000 reviews and a 4.9 out of 5 rating on the App Store. People around the world rely on Blinq to make that first interaction count.

  • We work in person, on purpose: We believe creativity and energy are better face-to-face, so we spend three days a week in the office and the rest wherever you work best.

Marketing at Blinq

Our Marketing team is responsible for driving awareness, demand, and growth across every stage of the customer journey. From go-to-market launches and lifecycle campaigns to performance, partnerships, and community, we connect Blinq’s story to the right audiences at the right time. If you’re excited by turning insight into impact and building scalable growth engines, you’ll thrive here.

Your Role

We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Lead who knows how to turn great products into serious revenue. As Blinq’s product offering expands, you’ll own how we acquire customers and scale revenue across those offerings, shaping where we invest and which growth opportunities we pursue.

You’ve built and scaled a performance marketing strategy before, and you have the results to show for it. You know how to find winning creative, make Meta Ads perform, and turn Shopify traffic into sales. You bring strong instincts from experience, plus the curiosity to keep testing them.

You’ll own the strategy, investment decisions, and hands-on execution. That means thinking big about where growth will come from, then getting into the campaigns, creative, and conversion data to make it happen. There’s room here to test bold ideas, scale what works, and see your decisions directly shape Blinq’s growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the strategy and put it into action. Own the performance marketing roadmap across our product offerings, prioritising the audiences, channels, and experiments with the greatest revenue potential.

  • Scale paid acquisition. Build, launch, and optimise campaigns, with a strong focus on Meta Ads. Stay close to audience strategy, campaign structure, budgets, and day-to-day performance.

  • Own investment decisions. Allocate and adjust spend based on commercial results, balancing growth with customer acquisition costs, return on ad spend, and payback.

  • Turn creative into a growth driver. Partner with design and brand teams to develop and test new concepts, messaging, and formats, using performance insights to guide the next round.

  • Improve the path to purchase. Optimise Shopify customer journeys, landing pages, and offers, working with relevant teams to turn more traffic into customers and revenue.

  • Build a disciplined testing approach. Run experiments across channels, creative, and conversion. Make clear decisions about what to scale, improve, or stop.

  • Connect marketing activity to business outcomes. Strengthen measurement and reporting so we understand what’s driving incremental customers and revenue.

  • Bring experience that lifts the work. Share what you’ve learned from scaling before and work across marketing, product, and design to put those lessons into practice.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record of generating revenue. You’ve built and scaled a performance marketing strategy within a scale-up and can explain the results you personally delivered.

  • Deep, hands-on paid acquisition experience. You’ve directly owned campaign execution and optimisation, particularly in Meta Ads, and know how to scale spend while maintaining commercial discipline.

  • Practical Shopify experience. You understand the e-commerce purchase journey and have improved conversion from paid traffic through to checkout.

  • A player-coach approach. You’re comfortable setting strategy, making investment decisions, and getting into the platforms yourself.

  • Strong commercial judgement. You understand return on ad spend (ROAS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), and payback, and use them to guide decisions.

  • A sharp eye for performance creative. You know how to brief, test, and iterate on ads, messaging, and landing pages to improve results.

  • Analytical rigour. You can interpret campaign and customer data, question attribution, and turn findings into clear actions.

  • Ownership and pace. You take responsibility for outcomes, move quickly, and work effectively across teams to get ideas into market.

What Success Looks Like

  • Measurable customer and revenue growth across Blinq’s product offerings.

  • Paid acquisition that scales efficiently, with clear visibility into commercial returns.

  • Stronger creative performance and improved conversion through to purchase.

  • Confident investment decisions grounded in evidence.

  • A repeatable testing approach that helps us find and scale the next growth opportunity.

What You Get

We hold a high bar and move with intent. You’ll get the clarity, trust, and ownership to meet it — and a team that pushes to do the best work of our lives. We back that with:

  • Equity and ownership: We’re building something massive, and we want you to share in the upside. Genuinely.

  • Competitive salary and growth path: As Blinq grows, your role and compensation grow with it — no glass ceilings here.

  • Generous paid time off: At least 20 days to fully disconnect each year, with a flexible policy beyond that.

  • Free food: Enjoy daily breakfast and lunch at some of our offices, plus an always-stocked snack bar.

Use of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analysing resumes, assessing responses, and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.

These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgement. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
