PeopleSoft Technofunctional Consultants
Location: Remote, client in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Role Overview
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to provide IT support for a large-scale PeopleSoft Financials system. This role involves assisting with project management, supporting the implementation of financial initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of system upgrades and enhancements. The position will also provide ongoing production support and contribute to modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for the PeopleSoft Financials system, including project management and implementation of financial initiatives.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and the resolution of issues.
- Deliver ongoing production support for state agencies.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, and System Integrators for functional and technical support.
- Update manuals, job aids, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other necessary documentation.
- Prepare and document test scenarios, test scripts, training materials, and configuration documents.
- Identify and document workflow requirements and design processes that meet both agency and statewide needs.
- Assist with testing patches, fixes, and PUM upgrade testing.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Deep experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 (PUM 53) across core financial modules.
- Proven track record supporting implementations, upgrades, testing, and production environments.
- Knowledgeable in Grants, Projects Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management.
- Ability to bridge functional and technical work, including translating requirements into specifications and working with SQL, PeopleTools, and integrations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with experience working with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, and BI Publisher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a government setting.
- Experience with the current PeopleSoft PUM Image.
