Location: Leederville Australia

Job Description:

Category: Finance Strategy, Services & Performance

  • Join the Strategy and Transformation Group
  • Shape decisions that will direct & sustain WA’s water services
  • Permanent opportunity in Leederville with flexible work arrangements – from $155,648 + 12% super

We’re entering an exciting new chapter at Water Corporation as we continue to grow our Strategy and Transformation Group. It represents a step forward in how we plan and deliver services – strengthening our ability to align today’s decisions with the needs of our future business, to benefit our customers and communities, and help Western Australia thrive. As part of this expansion, we’re increasing our capability and recruiting for multiple new positions. This is a rare opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment and help turn strategy into action - setting clear priorities, coordinated action, and driving real change across the business. We’re seeking talented people to support this strategic shift by bringing long-term direction, enterprise planning, operating model design, organisational change management and portfolio management into one connected, enterprise-wide system focused on delivering our Corporate Plan priorities. If you’re motivated by purposeful work, transformation and making a genuine impact across the state, there’s never been a better time to join us.

About the role:

We’re seeking an experienced Principal – Organisational Change Management to lead and coordinate change management at the portfolio level — ensuring transformation change is sequenced, aligned and successfully adopted.

Reporting to the Manager – Organisational Change Management, you will play a critical role in designing, building and maintaining the enterprise view of change and translating it into practical insights to inform decision making. You’ll provide expert guidance on identifying change impacts, assessing organisational readiness and capacity, and guiding how initiatives should be prioritised and sequenced to maximise adoption. You will work across multiple programs and business areas to ensure change is not delivered in isolation. Instead, you will connect initiatives, highlight interdependencies, and ensure leaders understand what change means for their people and when it is happening.

The role is both strategic and hands-on requiring you to analyse data, facilitate conversations with senior leaders, and provide clear, actionable advice to support a coordinated and people centred approach to change.

Real benefits that matter

  • Real flexibility with options to work from home or negotiate flexible work hours
  • An additional 2 well-being days each year
  • Access to long service leave pro rata after 3 years of service
  • Generous co-contribution superannuation scheme, which offers up to 16%. This includes an 12% standard employer contribution, plus an additional 2% employer co-contribution that matches your own 2% contribution
  • Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leave
