Job DescriptionOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) IAM Consultant

Required Skills and ExperienceSeeking a senior consultant with 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise identity and cloud security solutions. The candidate must have strong hands-on implementation skills, architecture experience, and the ability to lead complex IAM initiatives across public- and private-sector environments.

OCI IAM Architecture and ImplementationExtensive hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (OCI IAM), including identity domains, users, groups, dynamic groups, compartments, federation, and access management. Experience designing and implementing OCI IAM solutions, configuring IAM policies and policy statements, enforcing least-privilege access, integrating enterprise identity providers, implementing SSO, and securing cloud resources across enterprise environments.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Proven experience designing, implementing, and securing OCI environments. Experience with OCI architecture, cloud migration, infrastructure security, high availability, and multi-data-center deployments is highly desirable.

OCI Kubernetes and High AvailabilityExperience deploying and supporting IAM platforms using Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Kubernetes, and container-based architectures. Knowledge of active-active architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, and production reliability is preferred.

Single Sign-On and Identity FederationStrong expertise in SSO, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML federation, LDAP authentication, and authorization. Experience integrating enterprise applications with centralized IAM platforms is required.

Identity Lifecycle and ProvisioningExperience implementing automated user provisioning and deprovisioning, birthright provisioning, identity lifecycle workflows, directory synchronization, and enterprise identity integrations.

Directory Services and Enterprise IntegrationHands-on experience integrating OCI IAM with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP directories, and enterprise applications. Experience with identity federation and directory synchronization is preferred.

Cloud and Web Application SecurityExperience implementing cloud security controls, OCI Web Application Firewall (WAF), OWASP-aligned protection policies, security hardening, and application security controls. Knowledge of SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and common web application threats is desirable.

Multi-Cloud SecurityFamiliarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud security, including cloud IAM, infrastructure protection, hybrid environments, and enterprise identity integration.

Security Risk and ComplianceExperience conducting IAM and cloud security risk assessments, evaluating security controls, reporting residual risks, supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, and coordinating remediation of audit findings.

Enterprise Implementation and TroubleshootingProven ability to lead technical architecture, implementation, integration, testing, migration, production deployment, performance troubleshooting, and technical documentation for complex enterprise IAM solutions.

Technical Skills and AutomationExperience with SQL, Java, Jenkins, Ansible, and automation tools used to deploy, integrate, and maintain enterprise security solutions.

Technical LeadershipAbility to lead implementation teams, work directly with technical stakeholders, independently resolve complex IAM issues, and coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, application, database, and cybersecurity teams. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments and public-sector clients is preferred.

Additional Skills and InformationStrong hands-on expertise in OCI IAM architecture, OCI policies, identity domains, users, groups, dynamic groups, compartments, federation, SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, automated provisioning, cloud security, high availability, and enterprise application integration. Experience supporting large-scale IAM deployments and high-volume authentication environments is preferred.

Preferred QualificationsOracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate or other relevant OCI certifications; proven OCI IAM implementation experience; CyberArk or privileged access management experience; AWS security certification; and experience supporting enterprise IAM deployments across OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Overall Expectation: The consultant must be a senior, hands-on OCI IAM specialist capable of designing and implementing OCI IAM policies, securing cloud resources, configuring identity federation and SSO, integrating enterprise identity providers, enforcing least-privilege access, and supporting enterprise cloud security and compliance requirements.
