About the Role
Title: Operations Resource
Location: Remote, Connecticut
Job Description:
The goal of this position is to work closely with the portfolio president to support and accelerate the results of its home health, hospice, and home care business line in Connecticut. This will be accomplished in three primary areas: 1) New acquisition support on an ongoing and flexible basis, 2) Operational support to achieve improvement and census growth through sharing of best practices at the agency level, and 3) Leadership development with new acquisitions, agency start-ups, and/or developing and struggling agencies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquisition support – In concert with cluster leaders and executive directors, this person will assist in the successful transition of new acquisitions and agency start-ups in meeting financial, clinical, cultural, and community results.
- Operational support – In close partnership with the portfolio president, cluster partners, and agency leadership, this person may support new or struggling agencies to improve business development, operational performance and census growth through: sharing of best practices for business development and supporting agency census, supporting and advising on issues unique to the growing of small, start-up type operations, advising on marketing and branding initiatives to include online strategy and presence, and direct training and support to local teams.
- Leadership support and development – In connection with supporting acquisitions and business development and operational support, this person may also assist local leadership in finding and developing talent. This could include the search and recruitment of potential CITs, EDs, clinical leaders, business development personnel and other key roles affiliated with market development, and building the leadership team for new acquisitions, start-ups and struggling agencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Regular attendance on portfolio/market leader calls (at least monthly)
- Participation in market/cluster meetings for current supported agencies
- Regular progress reporting on supported agencies to portfolio president and executive directors
- Collation and creation of business development best practices for new and developing agencies
