JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The University Libraries-Music and Media Center in Pattee Library seeks motivated and responsible individuals to work at our public service desk.
- Provide in-person reference assistance for music and film.
- Circulation of Music and Media Center items,
- Shelving of CDs, DVDs, LPs, VHS, and other items.
- Maintenance of collection.
- General library and technology support.
Applicants should have strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. A background in music or film, or previous library experience, is preferred.
Music and Media Center Hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday-Friday (All Year) and 1pm - 5pm Sunday (Academic Year only). Positions will be 12 - 24 hours per week depending on availability.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
