About the Role
Title: MuleSoft Release Manager

Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a MuleSoft Release Manager for a Contract job with a client in Stamford, CT (Remote). The ideal candidate will lead and manage the end‑to‑end release lifecycle across multiple environments, ensuring high‑quality, predictable, and well‑coordinated releases.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
MuleSoft Release Manager job responsibilities include:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Own and maintain the enterprise release calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Coordinate release activities with DevOps, Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders.
- Ensure all release artifacts-builds, deployment scripts, release notes, rollback plans-are validated and approved.
- Enforce organizational release governance, change‑management processes, and compliance standards.
- Identify and mitigate release risks; manage cross‑team dependencies and scheduling conflicts.
- Lead release readiness, planning, and playbook meetings; communicate release status clearly across teams.
- Support incident management activities related to releases and lead post‑deployment troubleshooting.
- Drive continuous improvement of release processes, automation, tooling, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain runbooks, release procedures, deployment standards, and supporting documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, Software Delivery, or related IT functions.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and release governance frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and orchestration tools.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and other source‑control/release‑management tools.
- Experience working with JIRA for release planning, workflow management, and tracking.
- Ability to coordinate releases across multiple teams and large enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with automation (shell scripts, Python), API‑led integration concepts, and production monitoring tools.
- Preferred: Experience working with MuleSoft, API‑led connectivity (Experience/Process/System APIs), Postman, SOAPUI, or test automation tools.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
