Job Description:
Are you ready to join a growing team?
CTG is seeking a Mortgage Closing Specialist I to manage loan closings and ensure accurate Closing Disclosure (CD) issuance. This role collaborates with internal teams and external parties to meet target close dates while maintaining compliance and data accuracy.
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:

Review and manage loan pipelines and title review assignments.

Communicate with borrowers, brokers, settlement agents, and internal teams to coordinate closings.

Collect and verify documents, fees, payoffs, and third-party information.

Ensure loans comply with State and Federal guidelines; review homeowners, flood, title, and tax documentation.

Monitor rate locks, document expirations, and close dates.

Maintain internal controls and support audit/regulatory requirements.
Required Experience & Skills:

2+ years residential mortgage closing experience, including CD and closing package preparation.

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong PC skills (spreadsheets, Word, email).

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.

Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
Preferred:

Experience at a lender, title company, or settlement agent.

Knowledge of mortgage products, investors, compliance, and department software.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $18.68 to $31.14/hour. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
