Are you a well-rounded Lighting Artist who is passionate about working on upcoming film, television and advertising projects? The Embassy is hiring Mid Lighting Artists to join our team!
About The Embassy

About You
The Lighting Artist can independently light, render, and do moderate-level compositing of very complex shots, needing only initial direction and guidance from their supervisors. They are good communicators who can give and receive feedback and apply it to their work. They will accomplish project-specific tasks and be responsible for maintaining a high-level overview of the status and quality of their progress. They possess strong expert knowledge of lighting skills needed to accomplish the task.
Your Role
- Light and render shots. Take a shot to a final quality, hitting all notes.
- Ensure shots meet rendering requirements.
- Meet project milestones and deadlines on time.
- Collaborate with other artists to share knowledge and techniques.
- Make corrections and adjustments requested by the supervisor.
Your Qualifications
- 3+ years of Lighting experience in commercials, film, or TV
- Skilled knowledge of Houdini and Nuke
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to take direction positively and work well within a team
- Strong understanding of multiple aspects of the VFX pipeline
- Good understanding of colour/lighting
- Good understanding of physically plausible rendering
- Understanding of rendering efficiency, providing assets to effectively work within the different shot requirements
