Overview
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 / Purview / Power Platform Engineer to support a large-scale Microsoft Copilot Event Monitoring Program focused on compliance, governance, automation, and operational excellence across the Microsoft ecosystem.
In this role, you will design, build, and operationalize automated monitoring and reporting solutions that leverage Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Graph API, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 technologies. You will play a key role in enhancing compliance monitoring, streamlining incident management workflows, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and reporting solutions.
This position supports enterprise modernization initiatives focused on cloud transformation, operational efficiency, security, governance, and improved user productivity.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement automated workflows to monitor and respond to Microsoft Purview compliance and security alerts.
- Develop integrations using Microsoft Graph API to collect, process, and analyze Microsoft 365 event and compliance data.
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline operational processes and reduce manual effort.
- Configure and administer Microsoft 365, Purview, Power Platform, and Entra ID environments.
- Integrate monitoring and compliance processes with ServiceNow for incident and ticket lifecycle management.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into compliance events, trends, and operational performance.
- Support governance, security, compliance, and audit initiatives across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improve operational effectiveness.
- Support cloud modernization initiatives aligned with Azure-based infrastructure and platform services.
- Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and solution designs following enterprise standards and best practices.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and enterprise collaboration platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview, including compliance monitoring, governance, information protection, and alert management.
- Strong experience developing solutions using Microsoft Graph API.
- Expert-level Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Experience building enterprise automations using Power Automate.
- Experience administering and governing Microsoft Power Platform environments.
- Experience creating operational and executive dashboards using Power BI.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), identity management, and access controls.
- Experience integrating Microsoft solutions with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Microsoft Copilot governance, monitoring, or compliance initiatives.
- Experience working within cloud-first or Azure transformation programs.
- Understanding of security, risk, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience operating within Agile delivery environments.
- Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Purview, Power Platform, Azure, or Security and Compliance.

Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
