Your role in our mission

• This position is a contractually required role for the Medi‑Cal MMIS account for the Department of Health Care Services.
• The Medical Supply Specialist is responsible for responding to referrals from DHCS within 4 hours of notification.
• Reviewing policy and attending meetings with DHCS.
• Processing claims requiring medical review expertise and responding to referrals from internal departments.

What were looking for

• Active California RN license required.
• Experience with medical supplies.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, including insurance, provider support, and business analysis.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, create and/or follow project schedules, and meet internal timelines, client deadlines, and delivery expectations.

What you should expect in this role

• Must be a resident of the state of California and within 35 miles of the state capitol.
• Primarily remote work, with occasional onsite meetings, special training, or other business needs. The office is located in West Sacramento.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connectivity is required.
• Highly collaborative and interactive team environment.
• Accountability for individual work assignments and projects.

The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $98,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
