Title: Medical Clinic Coordinator - St. Paul Catholic Church - Damascus Maryland
Location: Damascus United States
Job Description:
St. Paul Medical Clinic is seeking a mission-driven, strategic leader to coordinate all aspects of the clinic in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The Coordinator oversees the administrative, financial, and operational functions of the clinic in Honduras. The Coordinator is a paid, part-time member of the St. Paul Church staff in Damascus, MD. The Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, donors, partnering parishes, and the medical staff on the ground, ensuring the sustainable delivery of healthcare to the underserved communities we serve.
This is a part-time role (10 hours per week) and the compensation is $24.00 per hour
Strategic Leadership & Board Relations
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish long-term goals and operational strategies
- Collaborate with partnering Catholic parishes in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington
- Prepare regular reports on clinic performance, financial status, and mission impact
Fundraising and Resource Development
- Lead comprehensive fundraising initiatives, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and annual appeals
- Identify and develop new partnerships and "job development" opportunities to expand the clinic's reach and sustainability
Financial Management
- Coordinate budgeting and expenditure for both U.S. and Honduras operations
- Ensure fiscal transparency and compliance with non-profit standards
Operations and Logistics
- Coordinate the procurement and international shipping of essential medicines and medical supplies
- Maintain inventory standards to ensure the clinic is consistently equipped to serve patients
Mission Trip Management
- Plan, lead, and manage two mission trips per year to Tegucigalpa, Honduras (Winter and Summer)
- Oversee volunteer recruitment, logistics, and on-site coordination to ensure safe and effective service delivery
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in non-profit management, international development, or healthcare administration
Leadership: Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and work effectively with a volunteer board
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills for fundraising and advocacy
Language :Working knowledge of the Spanish language is highly recommended, but not required
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to Honduras at least twice a year
