As a Marketing Manager, you will leverage your planning, organizational, and execution skills to drive profitable business growth in the Japan market. As part of our Asia Pacific (APAC)-based marketing team, we are looking for a reliable, proactive, and responsible individual who can support our marketing activities for the Japan market while aligning and integrating with our global strategy. In this team-based environment, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with members from various fields, agency partners, exhibition and event production companies, and others from around the world.
Reporting directly to the APAC Regional Marketing Manager (based in Korea) and receiving advice from the APAC Marketing Head (based in Japan), you will be responsible for the execution of the overall marketing strategy, taking ownership of various marketing campaigns.
This position is located in Tokyo, Japan .

ABOUT YOU
As a Marketing Manager, you will use your planning, organization and execution skills to help the company profitably grow in Japan. We are looking for a trustworthy, motivated and accountable individual to support the marketing efforts of the team based in the Asia-Pacific Region while collaborating and integrating within the global strategy. When working within a team-based environment, you will have the opportunity to work with team members from different disciplines from around the world, agency partners and trade show producers.
You will take ownership of marketing campaigns and support the execution of the overall marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Regional Marketing Manager for APAC (based in Korea) and some advice by the Head of Marketing APAC (based in Japan). This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Job Description)

- As part of the APAC marketing organization, you will be responsible for planning, executing and measuring the effectiveness of localized B2B marketing campaigns and various initiatives aimed at acquiring new gaming-related leads and partners in the Japanese market.
- You will be responsible for planning, managing, executing, measuring effectiveness, and reporting on marketing projects and initiatives for the commerce-related solutions and services you are responsible for.
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day communication and relationship management with external partners within the region, such as digital media planning agencies, PR agencies, exhibition and event production companies, etc.
- You will plan and coordinate speaking opportunities for Xsolla experts, and will also participate as a speaker at local games industry events and conferences as needed.
- You will work with the regional business development team to plan and create unique content aimed at onboarding new leads, generating sales opportunities, and ensuring smooth adoption of our products and solutions.
- You will actively share new ideas and approaches to achieve our marketing goals, contributing to improving the operational efficiency and results of the entire marketing team.
- You will work with other departments, such as the Digital Marketing team, to create and execute content and materials for various marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, organic and paid social media, content distribution, webinars, video content, blogs, ebooks, etc., including translations.
- You will work with the Events team and other related teams to lead the planning, management and execution of the entire event, supporting various administrative procedures and coordinating design approvals.
- Work within the APAC marketing organization to deliver, execute and measure localized B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at acquiring new gaming leads and partners in Japan.
- Create, manage, execute, measure and report on marketing projects and initiatives across the responsible Commerce solutions and services.
- Manage the day-to-day interaction of external partners within your region, including but not limited to: digital media planning agency, public relations contracted agency, and trade show production companies.
- Organize and plan public speaking opportunities for Xsolla experts and/or participate as a speaker themselves at regional video game industry events.
- Collaborate with regional business development teams to generate unique content aimed at onboarding new leads, securing meetings and helping integrate products and solutions efficiently.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the marketing team by sharing new ideas and approaches for meeting our marketing objectives.
- Work with other teams as digital marketing team to execute and deliver paid advertising, organic/paid social media, content distribution, webinar, video content, blogs, ebooks and other marketing campaign collateral and materials including translations.
- Work with other teams as event team to ask for the administrative support and design approval and lead the event

- 3-5 years of work experience in advertising agencies, brand companies, ad technology, mobile app-related industries, etc.
- Bachelor's degree holders
- Experience planning and developing exhibitions and branded B2B experiential marketing events
- Practical experience in completing a series of events, from planning and preparation to management, implementation, and post-event analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with digital media agencies, exhibition production companies, PR agencies, etc.
- Ability to carry out work in Japanese and English (business level)
- Experience working in a global company or in a global environment
- Strong data analysis and effectiveness measurement skills
- Able to work smoothly as a team member
- 3-5 years professional experience - agency, brand, ad-technology, or mobile apps related background
- Bachelor degree
- Demonstrated experience in creating and developing trade show and branded B2B experiential marketing events
- Experience preparing and delivering events from start to finish, including planning, coordination, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Experience working with or for digital media agencies, trade show producers, and public relations agencies
- Native-level Japanese proficiency and fluent English required
- Experience working with/within global companies
- Strong data analysis and measurement skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
