Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a national law firm who is seeking an experienced Contract Litigation Attorney to join their team for a long-term, remote assignment. This role will support complex litigation matters, with additional exposure to bankruptcy-related disputes, financial institutions and services litigation, white collar defense, investigations, and matters involving alleged Ponzi schemes and fraudulent transfers.
This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Seattle area or elsewhere on the West Coast. Candidates must reside in and be actively barred in the same state.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of litigation experience and be capable of stepping into an active caseload with minimal training or oversight. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to confidently discuss case strategy, strengths, weaknesses, and settlement considerations with partners.
Responsibilities:
- Draft complaints, demand letters, discovery requests and responses, and motions to compel
- Analyze case strategy and communicate merits, risks, and settlement considerations with partners
- Negotiate settlements and advance arguments in support of client positions
- Assist with deposition preparation, including drafting deposition outlines and organizing supporting materials
- Manage litigation matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Utilize AI tools and technology to support workflow and case management efforts
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation experience required
- Must reside in and be actively barred in the same state (WA, OR, or CA preferred)
- Experience with bankruptcy court, Ponzi scheme litigation, financial institutions/services litigation, white collar defense, and investigations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with limited hand holding
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable communicating with partners regarding litigation strategy and case evaluation
- Deposition preparation experience required
- Open to incorporating AI tools into daily workflow and case management processes

Pay Details: $65.00 to $85.00 per hour
