Job Description:

Say hello to Hagerty

Hagerty is a company built by drivers for drivers. We put our members at the center of everything we do, and are dedicated to making it easier and more enjoyable for enthusiasts to drive and celebrate the machines they love. We’re proud to be the world’s largest insurer of collectible and enthusiast vehicles and are home to the Hagerty Drivers Club, the world’s largest car club. Our Marketplace business presents live and digital sales across the U.S. and Europe, we host a number of driving events and concours, and our award-winning automotive journalists produce the most popular car magazine globally, alongside internationally awarded videos. We’re committed to Never Stop Driving. Ready to get in the driver’s seat? Join us!

As a Lead Marketing Strategist, Events, you’ll be responsible for the key components of marketing strategy development and campaign execution across Hagerty’s experiential brand activations inclusive of its signature events in the US: RADwood, The Amelia, and Greenwich Concours. You will collaborate with cross-function teams, provide clear creative direction, oversee holistic product campaigns, and ensure alignment with goals and objectives. This role will be instrumental in establishing clear, single-minded strategic leadership in the pursuit of generating demand, enhancing customer acquisition and retention, driving continuous improvement through data and analytics, and achieving the agreed-upon ROI. You bring a strong point of view, a bias toward action, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-market work with confidence and precision.

What you’ll do

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Execute and optimize comprehensive marketing strategies that drive awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Lead the ideation, planning, execution, refinement, and reporting of product campaigns while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure cohesive execution and drive measurable outcomes that maximize campaign performance.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize campaign performance data to identify trends, surface insights, and recommend adjustments that improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Implement and oversee A/B testing, analytics, and SEO optimizations in striving for continued learnings and improvement.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, techniques, and best practices, proactively sharing relevant insights with the team to inform strategy and drive innovation.
  • Assist with the monitoring and management of marketing budget activity for assigned campaigns, ensuring spend is tracked accurately and aligned with approved plans.
  • Identify and recommend modifications to existing marketing processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and improve campaign performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including product, creative, data, and channel partners — to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure consistent messaging across audiences.
  • Build strategic partnerships, engage with third-party partners, and lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, expand marketing channels, and drive revenue growth.
  • Partner with the insights and data analytics teams to develop and apply measurement frameworks that track and optimize marketing performance.

This might describe you

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing strategy, campaign execution, and performance optimization across digital and physical channels.
  • Proven ability to independently plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns with direct impact on business results.
  • Strong understanding and application of performance-based marketing strategies.
  • Analytically minded, with experience in performance metrics, experimentation, and using data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey strategies, campaign rationale, and performance insights clearly to cross-functional partners.
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams across teams and business units simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborative team player who works well across functions and looks to influence through expertise, data, and sound business case development.
  • Proficient in project management across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Operate with a growth mindset remaining open to feedback and continuous improvement while also keeping up to date with the latest marketing techniques and best practices to drive innovation.

Over and above
