Responsibilities:
- Create, organize and manage various documents in support of a team of 3 lawyers.
- Regularly communicate with in-house lawyers and clients on litigation files.
- Maintain electronic files, records, and correspondence
- Handle confidential information with discretion, confidentiality and judgment
- Managing day-to-day meeting schedules, file organization, and correspondence handling.
Qualifications:
- 3 + years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk
- An in-depth understanding of legal terminology, technicalities, and pressure coupled with excellent analytical, organizational and multitasking skills ease is sought.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Team and Co-Pilot.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Bilingual an asset
- Experience in Insurance Litigation
