Job Description:

Newcastle CBD location/Hybrid work from home 

Mentor and coach claims teams

Permanent role 

Join Suncorp’s Personal Injury Insurance team and use your clinical expertise to influence claims strategy and deliver better recovery outcomes for customers.

As an Injury Management Advisor, you’ll support claims teams across Workers’ Compensation by providing expert advice on treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-work strategies.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring consistent, high-quality, and compliant decision-making while helping drive better outcomes for customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Provide injury management guidance and interpret medical reports

•            Recommend appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans

•            Support claims strategy and decision-making

•            Engage with stakeholders (providers, claimants, employers)

•            Review claims costs and identify improvement opportunities

•            Ensure compliance with legislation and internal frameworks

•            Coach and support claims teams to build capability.

What You’ll Bring:

•            Allied Health degree (mandatory)

•            Experience in injury management, rehab, or claims (Workers Comp highly regarded)

•            Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills

•            Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement

•            Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
